TIP manufactures Concentrated Pigment pastes for colouring of Fiber reinforced
Plastics(FRP/GRP) based on polyesters, & epoxy resins.
The pastes are easily dispersible in unsaturated polyester & epoxy resins

4. DIRECTION FOR USE:
 Mixing Method
TIP Colour paste contains a highly dispersed Pigment which can easily be
redispersed in Polyester Gelcoat/Resin with the help of a slow mechanical stirrer
or by hand for small quantities.
For low viscosity resins ,care should be taken during the dispersion of the paste in
the resin so as to avoid any shade variations due to improper mixing.
5. MECHANICAL & CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:
We select the Pigments ,Resins , Additives to obtain the maximum :
 Ease of dispersion & compatibility
 No adverse effect on Gel Time
 Resistance to UV light, chlorine water, Soap ,alkalis, acids, temperatures etc
 As per the specific handling & storage conditions of the moulded product
6. ELECTRICAL INSULATION :
TIP also offers pigments for Non conductive moulding applications .
7.COMPATIBILITY:
TIP offers Pigment pastes suitable for various grades of Polyester resin mouldings Viz:
General Purpose(GP), Isothalic Resins, O-phthalic, Bisphenol grade, FR & also Pigments
suitable for mouldings based on Epoxy & Polyurethane for SMC/DMC/Flooring grade Epoxy
resins . Intermixing of TIP pigments is possible
We also offer Special grades of pigments for Fire Retardant (FR) grade of resins.

We test the Pigments for the following properties before it is dispatched to the clients:
 Shade/Colour matching
 Ease of dispersion or mixing with the suitable resin or the gelcoat
 Uniformity of colour of the present batch with reference to the previous batch
supplied to the client
